The ingredients needed to make Prawns Biryani:
  1. Get 1 kg king prawns
  2. Take 1 kg rice
  3. Get 7-8 medium onion..slice it.. Roughly chopped
  4. Take 1 spoon turmeric powder
  5. Take as required Mint leaves..cut into small
  6. Get 4-5 tomatoes slice vertically
  7. Take 3 spoon tomato ketchup
  8. Get to taste Salt
  9. Make ready 2 spoon coriander powder
  10. Make ready 2 spoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
  11. Prepare 1/2 spoon red chilli powder
  12. Take 1 capsicum it's optional
  13. Take as required Coriander leaves Roughly chopped
  14. Get as needed Biryani masala
  15. Make ready 5-6 green chilli slice iy
  16. Make ready 2 bay leaves ,
  17. Get 5 cloves,
  18. Prepare 5 - 7 black pepper,
  19. Get 1 big elaichi
  20. Prepare 2 spoon Oil and ghee
Steps to make Prawns Biryani:
  1. Marinate prawns - 1. Wash cleaned prawns properly - 2. Take it in a bowl - 3. Put half spoon salt, half spoon chilli powder and half spoon turmeric powder - 4. Mix it and keep it aside for 30 mins to marinate
  2. Frying onion - 1. Take oil in good quantity to fry onion and put it on high flame - 2. Put sliced onion into oil - 3. Let onion fry till its golden brown - 4. Take fried onion in a separate plate - 5. Remove excess oil from pan and just keep 3 to 4 spoon of oil in it, we will use it for cooking prawns
  3. Boiling rice for Biryani - 1. Wash 1 kg of Biryani rice and soak it in water for 20 mins - 2. Boil water in a vessel OK which - 3. Put 2 spoon salt, just Quater spoon ginger garlic paste, 2 sliced green chilli, dry masala like bay leaves, cloves, black pepper, give it good mix - 4. Let water boil properly - 5. Add rice, let rice cook 70 to 80% max
  4. Cook prawns - 1. Take same pan in which we fried onion - 2. Let oil heat up, add fried onions, keep Lil fried onion aside for garnishing biryani - 3. Add ginger garlic paste. Stir it till raw smell goes away - 4. Add sliced tomatoes, chilli, capsicum and add pinch of salt so that tomatoes cook fast - 5. Add masala - salt, kashmiri red chilli powder, biryani masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and stir it for 2 mins, add 2 spoon water to cook masala
    1. Add 3 spoon ketchup and stir for 1 min - 7. Add chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves - 8 Give it a good mix
    1. Add 3 to 4 spoon of water and Cover it and cook for 2 mins - 10. Add marinated prawns - 11. Let it cook for 5 mins - 12. Add one bowl water and let prawns cook
    1. Garnish it with fried onion and sprinkle 2 spoon ghee - 6. Cover with lid which perfectly for to vessel so that air is trapped inside - 7. Cook in on high flame for 1 mins - 8 lower gas and cook it on low flame for 15 to 20 mins
  5. Biryani layering - 1. After cooking prawns for 7 to 8 mins and thick masala is ready add rice to it. - 2. Take rice directly by draining water and keep adding it to vessel in prawns is cooking - 3. Keep gas on a very low flame in which prawns vessel is kept - 4. Add entire rice
  6. Biryani is ready to serve
